Buying your first guitar

Acoustic guitar should be anyone's first guitar. Once you get a hang of it, you will be so comfortable playing your first electric guitar. But who knows, you might never switch to electric guitar at all. Anyway, let see how to buy guitar for beginners.

To me guitar brand is very important but don't let that fool you, you might fine a perfect guitar for you called "Metal Heads", who cares if it suits you.

Most beginners don't know what they want, or they might think they know but they don't that sort of thing. And to not know what you want is the worst situation in anything. So, the idea is to be cool about it, and calmly shop around first. It's easy today since you can go read as many online reviews as wish in a few hours which i recommend harmony-central.com web site, they have many great guitar reviews there. Look into it, you can't go wrong with most of their reviews.

Next, i would go to as many music shops as you can possibly go and try out as many guitars as possible without getting kicked out from the shop. So first, look around and imagine what you like to play. And then ask to get each guitar you really like to look at down and feel the neck and fretboard which is the most part your fingers is going to be all over. It should be smooth and comfortable. The size of guitar body should not be too big or too small, if you comfortable holding and playing it, that's half way there.

Sure you can piss away money by choosing the best guitar in the store (if you can afford it), but it's bad idea for any beginners. You won't appreciate the quality that all the pro guitars have to offer. You won't hear the sound quality, you won't notice the mid low or mid high sound and many other little things that beginners aren't suppose to feel and hear. So it's a total waste of money if you ask me. After all you are just beginning to drive, are you going to buy a ferrari?

Buying guitar for beginners is like practicing guitar, you need to start small and along the steps you will automatically find out what you lack and then you would have a clear goal where you want to be at the end of each stage. We human, won't appreciate stuff that is too good for us. So make sure you feel the need first then go find the guitar that can fill the hole.

Ok, so you're bored listen to me already. Here's a few good guitars that you could check them out: For the best and affordable acoustic guitar brand and models under $300: Taylor Baby, Takamine and Yamaha.
For beginner electric guitar under $300 US: Ibanez RG, G&L, Fender Stratocaster Mexico and Epiphone Les Paul. But for me i just love getting second hands guitars, it open up more choices for my first beginner's guitar like nothing else.

I hope this guitar for beginner's buyer guide helped you decide. Thanks for reading.
